In this article we will look at managing software updates in a scalable fashion. Given that many already have entrenched infrastructures based on the Microsoft Windows platform, this article will look at using two solutions, Absolute Manage and ExtremeZ-IP together in order to deploy software update services, patch management and full operating system upgrades to clients.

We’ll also review what else Absolute Manage and ExtremeZ-IP can bring to the enterprise, with features such as clustering, 3rd party software patch management, change control, license management, imaging in place and security options that go far beyond what is otherwise available.
